Acer 17.3" Laptop - Intel® Core™ 3, 256GB SSD, 8 GB RAM - Silver, Silver

The Acer Aspire Lite 17 is a big-screen laptop built for the everyday stuff, from browsing and email to sorting holiday photos or streaming a boxset in the kitchen. Its HD+ TN screen has a matt anti-glare finish, so a bright window behind you won't wash out what you're reading. Inside, an Intel Core 3 processor works alongside 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, which means you can keep a few browser tabs and a spreadsheet open without everything slowing to a crawl, and files open quickly rather than making you wait.

The full-size keyboard includes a numeric keypad, handy if you sit down to do the household budget on a Sunday evening, while two microphones and a Full HD camera keep video calls with family clear. Battery life runs to up to 6.5 hours between charges, depending on how hard you push it, so an afternoon in the home office needn't be spent next to a socket.
